Background
The Whickers was established in 2015 as part of the legacy of pioneering broadcaster Alan Whicker to fund and recognise original and innovative documentary. They grant three annual awards: the Film & TV Funding Award; the Radio and Audio Funding Award; and the Documentary Audio Recognition Award.
Approach
The primary function of this site was to provide a platform for potential candidates to apply to The Whickers awards. All three awards required complex and lengthy application forms from which candidates would need to be able to save their progress, upload files and submit lengthy answers. Once candidates had submitted their application, the client also needed applications to be downloadable in multiple formats (PDF and Excel). To tackle these technical requirements I came up with a unique solution which met all the clients needs whilst also allowing for the simplest user journey for candidates.
